Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. About these terms

Zortal is operated by Bhadala Capital Private Limited, a company registered in India ("Zortal", "we", "us" or "our"). These terms govern your use of zortal.io, the Zortal web app, our mobile app, and the websites, hosting and domains we provide (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a business or organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to. You must be at least 18 years old. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Your account

3. The Service

Zortal helps you build, edit, host and run websites, with AI and by hand. The free plan lets you build and preview sites on a Zortal address, within the limits shown on our pricing page. Site Pro adds publishing on your own domain and the other features listed there.

We keep improving the Service, so features may change. We may also suspend or retire a feature; where that removes something you have paid for, we'll give you reasonable notice. Some features may be marked as beta, and may not work as reliably as the rest.

4. Plans, billing and renewals

5. Domains

6. Your content

7. AI-generated content

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

If you break these rules, we may remove content, take a site offline, or suspend or close your account. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

9. Our property and your feedback

The Service — including our software, templates, designs, brand and logos — belongs to us and our licensors. You may use the templates and design elements we place in your sites as part of those sites. These terms don't give you any other rights in our property.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely, without paying or crediting you.

10. Ending the agreement

11. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep the Service running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't give any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that AI output will be accurate. Some laws don't allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud.

13. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your sites, or your breach of these terms or of the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim. We'll tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in handling it.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at hello@zortal.io so we can try to resolve it. If we can't, the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction — but if you are a consumer, you keep any protection and any right to bring a claim where you live that your local law gives you.
